No. 2 Available Transfer WR Setting Multiple Visits To Major College Football Programs

Former Houston wide receiver Samuel Brown is reportedly scheduling visits to Texas A&M, Miami, and LSU. The news was first reported by Pete Nakos of On3.

Brown led the Cougars with 62 receptions for 815 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. He also led the team in yards per game (67.9) and yards per catch (13.1). He was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selection after ranking No. 6 in the Big 12 in receptions.

Over his two seasons with the Cougars, Brown saw action in 23 career games and recorded 103 receptions, 1,286 receiving yards, and seven receiving touchdowns.

Brown started his career at West Virginia, seeing action in only four games over his two seasons. He signed with the Mountaineers as a three-star prospect out of Bloomingdale, Georgia.

According to the On3 industry transfer portal rankings, Brown is the No. 2 available wide receiver in the NCAA transfer portal. He earned a four-star transfer ranking and only trails former Penn State wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith in the rankings.
