Two Big 12 teams facing a huge opportunity to get their seasons back on track will meet on Saturday afternoon as the Kansas Jayhawks head south to face the Baylor Bears at McLane Stadium in Waco. These two teams met last season in Lawrence, with Baylor cruising to a 45-7 victory over the Jayhawks.

It was a forgettable afternoon in Norman for Kansas (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) as the Jayhawks' defense had zero answers for Dillon Gabriel and Oklahoma in a 52-42 loss last Saturday. The Sooners shredded KU for 701 total yards, including 298 of them on the ground, as the OU offensive line had a big-time performance. Third down was another issue for Kansas' D with the Sooners converting 16 of 21 such opportunities. Jason Bean completed 16 of 27 passes for 265 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions while filling in for the injured Jalon Daniels. Lawrence Arnold had a big day as well, with five receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns. Devin Neal led the way on the ground with 84 rushing yards on 12 carries.
