Kirk Herbstreit Names His 'Top Performing' College Football Players From Week 4

Week 4 of the 2022 college football season is in the books. With it, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit is ready to name his "top performing" players of the week. 

Kansas State quarterback Adrian Martinez tops Herbstreit's list. The Nebraska transfer threw for 234 yards, ran for 148 additional yards and scored five touchdowns in the Wildcats' 41-34 win over No. 6 Oklahoma last Saturday. 

The rest of Herbstreit's "top performing" players list includes Ohio State wideout Emeka Egbuka, Michigan running back Blake Corum, Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker, Middle Tennessee quarterback Chase Cunningham, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean, Texas A&M linebacker Chris Russell Jr. and Cal running back Jaydn Ott.
