Former Texas quarterback Hudson Card notified the college football world of his intent to transfer away from the Longhorns on Monday.

Per Longhorns Country, a favorite has reportedly emerged to land the 2020 four-star recruit.

According to Bookie.com's latest odds, TCU (+300) is the current betting favorite to be Card's transfer destination, though several other programs were listed, as well.

The other schools linked to Hudson Card in the SI piece include Notre Dame (+400), Wisconsin (+475), Kentucky (+500) and UTSA (+900).

Card appeared in six games for the Longhorns in 2022, including three starts when first string quarterback Quinn Ewers went down with an injury.

His stats in limited action this season, while not gaudy, appear to make him one of the more sought-after quarterbacks currently in the portal.

A strong performance in his last start against West Virginia - 21 of 27 for 303 yards and three touchdowns - boosted his completion percentage up to nearly 70% and completed a six touchdown, one interception 2022 campaign for the former Longhorn.

Card's potential move to TCU is likely dependent on the status of current Horned Frogs' quarterback Max Duggan. One of the four Heisman finalists this season, Duggan has not yet declared for the 2023 NFL Draft.

Wisconsin and Kentucky are each intriguing options for Card, as well. Badger Nation is buzzing after the program recently finalized a deal for former Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell, while Kentucky just learned that 2022 starting quarterback Will Levis plans to enter the upcoming draft.

Duggan and the TCU Horned Frogs will take on Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl, a College Football Playoff semifinal matchup, on December 31st.
