Nick Saban Announces Monday Update On Quarterback Bryce Young

Nick Saban, Alabama Crimson Tide Football

Bryce Young has shared additional information on Alabama quarterback Bryce Young this Monday afternoon.

Young is dealing with "a little bit of a shoulder injury," per Saban. The good news is it's not considered to be a longterm injury.

Saban adds Young's injury is more in the day-to-day category, as opposed to a multi-week setback.

Alabama QB Bryce Young has “a little bit of a shoulder injury,” coach Nick Saban says during his weekly news conference. It’s not a “long-term” thing, he says. He’s day-to-day.

This is probably the last time Saban is going to share any information on Bryce Young.

He's getting pretty worked up with all of the extremely-relevant media questions.

“You guys think I’m going to tell u what I’m going to do w/ our offense? Might as well make it up. I saw headlines I’m going to keep a secret what we’re doing w/ Bryce. Sounded like me making that statement! Never said that! Make up whatever u want!”

Hopefully Bryce Young can play this Saturday vs. Texas A&M.

If Young can't give it a go, backup Jalen Milroe will once again get the start. The dual-threat played well in Young's place last Saturday vs. Arkansas.

The Alabama offense will likely lean on the run with Milroe under center.
