A notable SEC quarterback has suffered a significant injury that will likely prevent him from playing the rest of this season.

Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Max Johnson has a broken bone in his hand. It's likely a season-ending injury.

A big loss for the SEC and significant setback for Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies.

Texas A&M plays No. 1 Alabama this Saturday.

I am told Texas A&M QB, Max Johnson has a broken bone in his throwing hand. Sadly, he might be done for the the season - at the least the foreseeable future.

With Max Johnson out for the foreseeable future, the Aggies are expected to turn to Haynes King for the rest of the season.

Jimbo Fisher named Haynes King the starter before the season and was highly complimentary as to why.

“We felt Haynes had a great camp and put us in position to be successful going in right now,” Fisher said Monday at his weekly press conference. “That’s what we believe in.”
