Here are the outrageous college football predictions for Week 7.

Outrageous College Football Predictions for Week 7

Colorado takes down Oregon

This battle of future NFL quarterbacks is going to be fun to watch. Neither team has any problem scoring, and that should continue on Friday night. The difference in this one will the Ducks looking ahead to a huge matchup with Washington, while the Buffaloes come into the game with little to lose. Look for Colorado to jump out early we a couple of big plays. Oregon won't figure out that they are in trouble until almost halftime. By then, it will be too late.

Texas beats Oklahoma by two scores

The rivalry game comes down to physicality. As we've watched the Oklahoma program evolve in recent years, we've also seen the Sooners become a finesse program — losing some of their physical edge. The Longhorns have lost nothing of the sort, and their quarterback — Sam Ehlinger — is a guy who can will his team to victory and inspire Texas to play with an edge. Look for this to be a lower-scoring game than many are expecting, with the Longhorns taking control of the tempo in the fourth quarter.

Illinois shocks Michigan

The Wolverines are coming off a physically and emotionally exhausting win over Iowa and looking ahead to Penn State. The Illini have played a lot of teams tough this season and are not exactly the Rutgers of the Big Ten West like many thought they would be. Look for Lovie Smith's Illinois team to come out and play care-free football against a tight and tired Michigan team. The early kickoff is gonna make it tough for Jim Harbaugh and Co. to get going, leading to one of the biggest upsets of the season.

Hawaii upsets Boise State

Things are looking good again in Boise, as the Broncos are in the top 15 and have reasserted themselves as the premier program in the Group of 5 ranks. As good as they've been in 2019, their defense hasn't really been challenged since the opener with Florida State. That'll change this week with Hawaii coming to town. The Rainbow Warriors score points, and with how Boise State has sputtered on offense at times this season, the Broncos may not be fully prepared for the track meet that this game is going to turn into.

Texas A&M stuns Alabama

I can't explain it, I just feel it. Something about the atmosphere at Kyle Field in October, with the 12th Man in full effect, makes me believe the Aggies and the home crowd can frustrate Nick Saban's bunch. I think turnovers are the difference in this one, and you'll see the Crimson Tide lose the battle in that category and on the scoreboard.

*Remember, "outrageous" can be defined as “wildly exaggerated or improbable,” and “very bold, unusual, and startling.” These are "outrageous" predictions and should be treated as such.
