Behind quarterback Sam Darnold and a talented front seven on defense this year, USC claimed its first Pac-12 title since 2008. The Trojans missed out on a CFB Playoff berth after suffering two losses in the regular season, but coach Clay Helton's team finished with an 11-2 mark and won the league title game over Stanford in early December. USC wasn't the only bright spot in the Pac-12 this fall. Stanford won the Pac-12 North and had a Heisman finalist in running back Bryce Love, while Washington eclipsed double-digit victories for the second year in a row. The conference also produced nine bowl teams and seven programs ended the regular season with a winning record.
