College GameDay Officially Reveals Guest Picker For Eugene Show

Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit on ESPN's College GameDay

ESPN's College GameDay is heading to Eugene, Oregon this weekend to preview a pivotal Pac-12 battle between the No. 10 Ducks and No. 9 Bruins of UCLA.

It's going to be a party. Not only is Eugene one of Lee Corso's and Kirk Herbstreit's all-time favorite locations; Oregon is hosting a toga party at the beloved show.

As if things couldn't get more Ducky, ESPN has picked a University of Oregon sports legend to be the show's guest picker.

Oregon women's basketball legend Sabrina Ionescu will join Corso, Herbstreit and the rest of the gang for the show this Saturday morning.

"A college basketball great and @OregonWBB legend We can't wait to welcome @sabrina_i20 to our show in Eugene this weekend!" ESPN announced.

Sabrina Ionescu is on the Mount Rushmore of Oregon student-athletes. She's one of the best players in women's college basketball history.

Unfortunately, Ionescu's final year with the Ducks was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. However, there's no doubt Oregon would have challenged for the national title that year. Early in the season Ionescu and the Ducks beat Women's Team USA Basketball at Matthew Knight Arena.

Ionescu returns to Eugene this Saturday to pick this weekend's top college football games, including Oregon vs. UCLA at Autzen Stadium.
