Former Alabama DB Terrion Arnold: 'If My Mom Was A Receiver, I'd Jam Her Into The Dirt'
Former Alabama corner Terrion Arnold has made headlines left and right in the infancy of his NFL career.
It started off with him sharing what ended up being a controversial story from the NFL Draft about the Las Vegas Raiders' interest in drafting him over Brock Bowers, which was denied by the head coach. On Friday, the Detroit Lions first-round pick is catching the attention of fans and media again, this time for a more humorous reason.
When discussing his intensity as a player, Arnold wanted to make sure there were no doubts about how hard he plays and will play for the Lions.
"If my mom was a receiver, I'd jam her into the dirt," he said, via the Detroit News. "And she knows that."
Lions fans are likely loving the energy considering they had one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL last season. As seen in the photo, Arnold will be sporting the No. 0 for Detroit. He is expected to carry over his tenacity and ball-hawking ability that Alabama fans fell in love with in Tuscaloosa to the franchise that is looking to push for a Super Bowl.
