Alabama lands commitment from four-star Mater Dei DB Chuck McDonald
Kalen DeBoer and the new Alabama staff continue to make waves on the recruiting trail.
On Saturday, they landed a commitment from four-star defensive back Chuck McDonald. The Mater Dei (CA) product took to social media to announce his commitment, choosing the Tide over programs like Stanford, Florida, Georgia, USC and Oregon among many others.
According to 247Sports, McDonald ranks as the No. 115 player in the country, No. 13 corner, and No. 9 player in the state of California.
This past season he was credited with 34 total tackles, seven pass deflections, and a pick while helping anchor Mater Dei's defense en route to a state title.
With his addition, The Tide now have the No. 4 class in the country.
