Alabama To Be Featured On Big Noon Kickoff For Week 3 Meeting Against Wisconsin

Nothing says primetime like FOX Sports' Big Noon Kickoff.

For Alabama, they will be playing on one of the biggest stages in college football when they hit the road for their Week 3 meeting against Wisconsin in what will be the first true test of the Kalen DeBoer era. It was revealed via a social media post by FOX College Football on Monday, as they along with the meetings between Texas and Michigan and Ohio State and Michigan

The Tide and the Badgers are not familiar with one another at all, as the two programs have only crossed paths twice. Once in 2015, and once back in 1928. The Tide won their last meeting in 2015 in blowout fashion in what was the first game of the Jake Coker and Derrick Henry era, in Week 1 of the 2015 season.

While we likely won't have learned much about either team heading into the meeting considering they are both opening the season with group of five or FCS programs, the Badgers were on the outside looking in of ESPN's early top 25. It is also worth noting that they went out and landed Miami quarterback Tyler van Dyke who could take them to the next level.

The Tide on the other hand has consistently been viewed as a top-10 team, with some outlets even ranking them as a top-five team. Week 3 has a chance to be a fantastic game, and one where Alabama can make a massive statement.
