Former Alabama DB Terrion Arnold Willing To Play Nose Guard For Detroit Lions

Alabama fans may have already known this but for those who don't follow the program closely, former Alabama defensive back Terriorn Arnold has a fantastic personality.

In his short tenure with the Detroit Lions, his competitiveness and intensity have been on full display as at one point he said he'd jam his own mom, and on Friday he had another hilarious quote. When discussing how he feels like he can play anywhere in the secondary, he also joked with the media that he'd be fine with getting down and dirty in the trenches.

“I’m more comfortable anywhere,” Arnold said, regarding whether he prefers to cover the left or right side of the field. “I don’t consider myself a cornerback. I consider myself a defensive player. I can play anywhere on the field. I can even line up at nose guard, if I’ve got to line up there.

“But I mean, playing football, it’s something I’ve been doing as a kid. Like, I keep saying the same, but I’m happy to be out here. I really am.”

While we love the spirit, can't imagine the sub-200-pound corner would fair well against the 300-pounders. Arnold was taken with the No. 24 pick in last month's NFL Draft.
