Picture of Nick Saban and Ring Girl Sydney Thomas is Going Viral
A massive headlining story developed over the course of the day on Monday, as a photo of Nick Saban on the golf course is going viral. It's who he is joined by that's sending waves across social media.
Sydney Thomas, who became a viral sensation during the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight on Nov. 15 last year as she was one of the ring card models, shared a photo of the two together on the golf course. The post has reached over 10 million views on X up to this point.
Thomas, who was a student at the University of Alabama, gained instant popularity during that match. Though her degree centered around marketing and has marketing experience, she began her ring card model career in October of last year, according to her X biography.
Many fans were shocked to see this picture, as it was unexpected. Thomas made headlines when a story came out about her comments on a podcast. Thomas joined an episode of "Like A Farmer Podcast" and made these comments about an SEC coach messaging her after the November 15th fight. When asked about the craziest messages she received after that night, Thomas had this to say.
“It was from another SEC football team coach and they just DM’d me: ‘Roll Tide’.”
Obviously, there is a lot of speculation of if it was a current Alabama coach, staff member, or another conference's coach. Many have believed it was not Saban, as he is married to Ms. Terry. It is peculiar on who this coach may be, however.
