Deion Sanders Earns Massive Bonus After Colorado-Texas Tech

The Colorado Buffaloes defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders 41-27 in Week 11, advancing to 7-2 on the season. With the Week 11 victory, the No. 20 Buffaloes are now listed as the No. 2 team in the Big 12 with a 5-1 conference record.

Colorado has taken a massive leap forward under head coach Deion Sanders, improving from a 4-8 record in his first season with the program (2023).

Upon signing his contract with Colorado, before the 2023-24 season, Sanders agreed to a number of seasonal bonuses that were included in his five-year, $29.5 million deal.

One of the many bonuses in Sanders' contract was a $100k payout for every additional win after bowl eligibility, per BetMGM

After Colorado won six games and became bowl eligible, Sanders has received $150k bonus and added to that purse in Week 11, with another $100k.

A couple of other incentives in Sanders' contract are listed below:

In the win over the Red Raiders, Shedeur Sanders recorded three touchdowns and 291 yards, completing 30-of-43 pass attempts.

Hunter, who plays wide receiver and cornerback for the Buffaloes, posted one touchdown, 99 yards and nine receptions.

Deion Sanders has a chance to add to his wallet, while Shedeur Sanders and Hunter can bolster their stats with three games left on the Buffaloes schedule.

Following their win over the Red Raiders, the Buffaloes are set to face Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma State to close out the season.
