Aiden's Way Too Early Prediction (VS Cal)

Game 4 of the Florida State Seminoles 2024 football season is yet another ACC opponent, but a face we aren't very used to seeing as the Cal Golden Bears come to town in their first ACC season. This is also Cal's first ACC game.

Fun fact: this is the first time ever that Cal faces Florida State as well, so it adds a little bit more interest.

Heading into this game, Florida State is 3-0 (2-0) with wins over Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Memphis, while Cal is 2-1 (0-0) with wins over UC Davis and San Diego State and a loss on the road to Auburn. Cal is coming off a good season for them in 2023, where they won 6-7 and made a bowl game for the first time since 2019 after struggling from 2020–2022. Cal can score the defense, which will be the big question for the Golden Bears in 2024.

Now for the prediction, Cal is basically just going to struggle heavily this game; they haven't faced anybody so far, like FSU, and Florida State is going to take advantage of that offensively and defensively as they dominate Cal on both sides of the ball, offensively using DJ Uiagalelei as he throws for 254 and 2 touchdowns, and on the defensive side, putting pressure on Cal's Quarterback in Mendoza Fernando, who struggled against teams that put pressure on him last season, as Florida State dominates once again, improving to 4-0.
