Bradyn Swinson receives award for career-best play in last Saturday’s game
The LSU defensive end was named the “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” award. LSU beat South Carolina on the road 36-33. Bradyn’s performance was vital to LSU’s victory. He had three sacks, a forced fumble and five tackles.
This award honors outstanding plays by college football players during the regular 13-week season. Each week, a new player is selected. The “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” prize pack includes a trophy, PorkRinds.com swag and a large supply of pork rinds.
Bradyn recently told LSUsports.net about some of his goals for the season. “I’m really just trying to be the best that I can be for the team. Obviously, getting as many sacks as we need, but my personal goal is to be better in the run game. I don’t want to be a one dimensional player. I feel like last year I showed that I could pass rush. So, just being more firm in the run game and being able to set edges and make plays in the backfield”, said Bradyn.
LSU plays UCLA at Tiger Stadium this Saturday at 3:30 pm ET.
