Sherrone Moore Has Surprising Response When Asked About Flag From Michigan-Ohio State Game
The Michigan Wolverines are on a high following this past weekend's win over Ohio State in Columbus, culminating in the addition of several high-profile prospects for the early signing day period beginning today.
The fallout from The Game includes questions on what happened during the postgame brawl between the Buckeyes and Wolverines, including one that was posed to Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore recently about the flag that Michigan attempted to plant at center field before a widespread scuffle broke out at Ohio Stadium.
Moore had a surprising response when asked about what will happen to the flag in the coming days.
"Will the flag from this year be put in the museum?" Moore was asked by a member of the local sports media.
"So, I told the team yesterday, not going to plant any flags, we're going to go celebrate with the team, but yeah..." Moore said, his vocal inflection picking up as he seemed to affirm what the media member asked about the now-famous flag.
Michigan reporter Anthony Broome has since confirmed that the flag has been placed in the Towsley Museum in the Schembechler Hall football building on the University of Michigan's campus in Ann Arbor, MI.
