Charles Woodson Revealed What He Thinks Ohio State's Ryan Day Must Do to Keep His Job

Michigan legend and 1997 Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson appeared on The Rich Eisen Show Monday to discuss the Wolverine's stunning 13-10 victory over Ohio State and the implications for Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day.

Woodson touched on a wide range of topics including his pick for the 2024-2025 National Championship and what he feels Ohio State coach Ryan Day must do to keep his job with the Buckeyes now that he has lost to the Wolverines four years in a row.

Woodson said that he believes Texas, Georgia and Oregon have the best chance to win the title while moving on to topics surrounding this past Saturday's game in Columbus, Ohio.

Charles Woodson speaks with fellow Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard in Ann Arbor, MI.

"And what do you think Ohio State should do? Because you know fans want Ryan Day out," Eisen asked the 1997 Heisman Trophy winner.

"I would venture to say, man, he has to go win it all," Woodson said about what Day must do to keep his job.

"For what they did this offseason, of course with the NIL and the money that they reportedly spent, to beat Michigan. The fans, they're not even thinking about the championship right now, they're still thinking about Michigan, because that's what this was supposed to be," Woodson added.

"Cuz all I've heard all season was that this is the most talented team, they're favored to win the championship, and so, now, you've gotta win the championship, you didn't get the Michigan game.

"They're calling for him now, but if he doesn't make it to the championship game and win it, it could be lights out."
