Ohio State Star Praised For Classy Gesture Amid Postgame Brawl vs. Michigan

Ohio State football dropped their fourth straight game to the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday during a game that was noteworthy not just for the 13-10 final score in favor of the Wolverines but also for a postgame brawl.

The Wolverines attempted to plant their block 'M' emblazoned flag at center field near Ohio Stae's block "O' logo only to meet resistance from star linebacker/defensive end Jack Sawyer, who became visibly angry at what the Wolverines were attempting to do at Ohio Stadium.

The resulting melee led to several takes from various parts of the college football landscape including one from a former two-time First Team All-American and NFL player who attended the University of Michigan.

TreVeyon Henderson of Ohio State is tackled by a Michigan Wolverines defender.

Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson is tackled by Cameron Brandt of the Michigan Wolverines in Columbus, Ohio. Michigan won 13-10 in Sherrone Moore's first road game as the team's head coach.

"I feel it's important to single out and acknowledge TreVeyon Henderson," former Michigan star Jake Butt said on his X account. "He's been an amazing athlete and football player, but clearly an even better person.

"Has been nothing but class his entire career. He's the definition of a leader, and the world would be a better place if we had more people with his level of character."

Henderson is a senior from Hopewell, Virginia, who rushed for just 21 yards on 10 carries, finishing with 751 rushing yards over the course of Ohio State's regular season.

He went over to shake Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore's hand as the dust settled from Saturday's postgame brawl as shown in a video posted to X.
