Ole Miss Shares Link to Assist Former Rebel KD Hill With Medical Expenses

The former Chucky Mullins Award winner was recently involved in a car accident.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels shared a link on social media on Saturday that allows fans to send donations to former player KD Hill for his medical expenses.

The former defensive lineman was involved in a car accident last weekend, one that has likely brought an end to his football career. Hill was the recipient of the Chucky Mullins Courage Award in 2022 and donned the No. 38 worn by the late Mullins last fall.

The Chucky Mullins Award is given annually to an Ole Miss upperclassman defender who embodies the spirit of Mullins with courage, leadership, perseverance and determination. Hill, without a doubt, personified each of those qualities during his five-year career with the Rebels.

Hill stole the heart of Ole Miss fans everywhere last fall when he went viral after calling his mom to let her know he would be wearing the No. 38 his senior year.

While at Ole Miss, Hill registered 58 tackles, four TFLs, one sack, and two pass deflections. The former Rebel was invited to NFL training camp with the New York Jets and recently signed a contract to play for the Orlando Guardians of the XFL.

The donation link is provided by the Ole Miss chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and fans can choose what amount to give towards Hill's expenses.
