2021 Point Guard J.D. Davison Has the Clutch Gene
J.D. Davison capped off a dominant junior season with a three-point buzzer-beater to win a state title.
J.D. Davison solidified his standing as one of the must-see point guards on the spring/summer circuit this coming season, dropping a 3-point game-winner in the state title game to lead Calhoun (Ala.) past Barbour County (Ala.) 64-61 on Friday.
Davison, a junior, finished with 32 points in the win, while multiple coaching staffs including Cincinnati, Memphis and Alabama looked on.
This season, Davison averaged 32.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and three blocks a game.
