Elite 2021 Point Guard Kennedy Chandler Cuts List to Five
Briarcrest (Eads, Tenn.) point guard Kennedy Chandler took a big step toward deciding on a college on Thursday, cutting his list from 10 to a more manageable five.
Duke, Memphis, Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee will now duke it out for the 6-foot-1 point guard’s services.

This season, Chandler averaged 24 points, five assists and five rebounds a game for the Saints who finished 23-6.
Chandler had a storybook rise last summer.

In the duel with Green, Chandler pumped in Green pumped in 21 points, handed out nine assists and grabbed six rebounds in the 85-84 overtime win.
He also managed the game’s most memorable play; after swiping a steal from Green as he was coming down the court, Chandler took it back to the basket and threw down a one-hander over Green, who was trying for the block.
Pandemonium ensued.
For the summer, Chandler averaged 15 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists while racking up 41 steals.
That production made him a “can’t miss” prospect in the 2021 class.
Makes sense for a player with elite athleticism and scoring ability on all three levels, exceptional ball-handling ability, and a high IQ.
