Fans Have Same Brutal Reaction After Tennessee's Blowout Loss to Houston
The Tennessee Volunteers' 19-point loss to the Houston Cougars in the Elite Eight has the men's basketball program still searching for a Final Four appearance. It was hard for college basketball fans to ignore the Vols' dismal offensive performance in the Elite Eight.
Tennessee shot just 28.8% from the field and only made 17.2% of the team's 3-point shots. Fans took to social media to criticize Tennessee's offensive woes with some rival SEC fans quick to point out that Tennessee is still searching for the team's first Final Four trip.
"116 years. 0 Final 4s. I couldn’t imagine," said one fan rubbing in Tennessee's blowout loss.

"Go recruit shooters and athletes," another posted.
"The Rick Barnes Special," a fan added.
"A tradition like none other," said one person.
"And the curse continues," another remarked.
"Wait, so still ZERO final fours," one fan stated.
Head coach Rick Barnes has yet to lead Tennessee to a Final Four and is still searching for his first national championship. Barnes' lone Final Four trip happened in 2003 with the Texas Longhorns.
It was an impressive season for Tennessee, but the offense needs a boost this offseason if the Vols hope to break the unfortunate Final Four streak. This is especially true given the current quality of competition across the SEC.
