Two Texas A&M Aggies Games Are On Most Expensive Tickets List

Texas A&M Aggies fans better be ready to pony up some cash this season.

The excitement from the Texas A&M Aggies fanbase may be at an all-time high headed into the 2024 football season.

Between a brand new head coach, a star quarterback returning from injury, a roster that has enough talent to compete with almost anyone in the nation, and of course, an arch-rival that will be playing in the same conference for the first time in nearly a decade and a half.

As a result of so much anticipation, Aggies fans who are hoping to see the team play in Kyle Field this season for the biggest games of the year must be ready to sacrifice their wallets. Texas A&M's name comes up twice in College Football Report's list of the top-20 most expensive games of the year by average ticket price.

While it comes at no surprise that the first matchup of the Lone Star Showdown since 2011 and first-ever as an SEC game is going to cost a pretty penny to get in the door, seeing the average price at $625 and nearly $100 more expensive than the No. 2 priced game is a bit jarring.

Nonetheless, it's going to be the most sought after ticket in college football in 2024 and an absolutely massive day for the state of Texas as a whole.

The first game of the Mike Elko era also found its way on the list at No. 6 for $359 just behind Ohio State and Oregon's clash in Eugene at No. 5. The massive price for the August 31 showdown between the Aggies and Notre Dame at Kyle Field comes in ahead of Georgia against Texas in Austin, the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa, and a national championship rematch between Michigan and Washington.

It's safe to say that Aggies fans are beyond excited for the 2024 season.
