How valuable was West Virginia quarterback Will Grier? Well, going into the Mountaineers game against Texas last season, the Mountaineers were a competitive 7-3. Without him, West Virginia lost its last three game.

Grier is back and so is favorite playmate wide receiver David Sills. who had 18 TD receptions last year. Throw in another wide receiver in Gar Jennings who had more than 1000 receiving yards and you have a solid offense that will score on anybody.

There are some problems on defense, which coach Dana Holgorsen must solve. But the Mountaineers can still win games 50-47 as well as 17-14.

Can you say Big 12 sleeper? WVU faces Oklahoma in the regular season finale in Morgantown on Nov. 23rd and that could be the start of back-to-back games against the Sooners for the Big 12 title.
