Former West Virginia star and current Phoenix Suns guard, Jevon Carter, put his defender on skates and drilled an uncontested three last night in the Suns 124-95 win over the Kings.

Carter totaled 18 minutes last night and finished with 11 points on 4-7 shooting, which included 3-5 from the 3 point line. He also hauled in one rebound, three assists, one block, and finished with a (+/-) of +14.

Carter brought a spark off the bench, which came to a boiling point after he hit his first 3-pointer with 2:42 left in the third quarter. The Suns outscored the Kings 47-22 to end the game. Carter seems to be the primary backup point guard to starting point guard Ricky Rubio, which means we should see Jevon continue to grow and have big numbers for the Suns this season.
