China's Tianlang Guan had already made Masters history by becoming the youngest player to ever play at Augusta National. On Friday, the 14-year-old 8th grader from China made more when he made the cut, despite being assessed a one-stroke penalty for slow play at the 17th hole. Even with the penalty, Guan shot a 3-over 75 in his second round to pair with his one-over round of 73 on Thursday. That put him at 4 over for the tournament, which was right on the cut line. Besides being the youngest player in the field, Guan also is the only amateur to make the cut.
