Cincinnati manager Dusty Baker got his 1,600th win as a manager Tuesday night when the Reds beat the Braves 5-4 on back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the ninth. With the victory, Baker became the 18th manager in major league history to win 1,600 games. Baker is 1600-1447 (.525) in his career as the manager of the Giants (1993-2002), Cubs (2003-06) and Reds (2008-present). Baker should continue to climb the all-time victories list this season, with Hall of Famer Fred Clarke (1,602 wins) and Ralph Houk (1,619) just ahead of him. The only active manager with more victories is Detroit's Jim Leyland, who is currently in 15th place on the all-time list with 1,695 wins.
