Let our experts help you pick a great Masters lineup
Trying to pick your optimal DraftKings lineup for this week's (April 6-9) golf tournament: the Masters at Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia? Our fantasy golf experts are ready to help.
Here's what our optimal lineup looks like.
Dustin Johnson ($11,300)
So far, the Masters is the weakest major on his resume, but the course is built for a bomber like DJ, who should overpower the par 5s like Tiger in his prime. And that's who Johnson most resembles right now after winning his last three starts. (UPDATE: DUSTIN JOHNSON IS OUT! DO NOT PICK!)
Justin Rose ($9,200)
Rose has finished in the top 25 in six straight Masters, including a runner-up in 2015 and a T10 last year. He also played great in the Hawaii/West Coast swing this year.
Phil Mickelson ($8,700)
Shockingly, Lefty has missed the cut in two of the last three Masters, but his record at the tournament is easily the best in the field — three wins, 11 top 5s, 15 top 10s. He could break Nicklaus' record for oldest Masters winner this week.
Lee Westwood ($7,200)
He's not the player he once was, but that just means he's a fantasy bargain. Westwood's a Masters ringer with five top-8 finishes (including a pair of runner-ups) in the last seven Masters.
Kevin Kisner ($6,900)
The runner-up at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Kisner has been playing steady golf of late. He made the cut in his first Masters appearance last year and should play the weekend at the very least.
Soren Kjeldsen ($6,500)
Quietly, Kjeldsen had a great majors season in 2016, including a T7 at Augusta. After a string of missed cuts earlier in the year, he had a top 5 at the Match Play.
