Most people roll their eyes at the kicker position in fantasy football. Some leagues have even eliminated the kicker. However, for those that still employ a kicker, wait until the last (or maybe the second-to-last round) to draft one.
When picking a kicker, keep in mind where they play. Kickers playing indoors are usually more consistent as they don't have to deal with wind, rain or snow. Also look at their accuracy. Justin Tucker missed one field goal out of 39 attempts last year. He made all of his extra point attempts (27-for-27) as well. While he may not remain automatic on every kick he attempts, he is a solid option for a fantasy kicker in 2017.
