Projections for the season ahead
As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Jones will score fewer touchdowns in 2020. That’s about the safest fantasy prediction one can make. We’ve only seen 39 seasons of 19-plus touchdowns from scrimmage all time. Only seven players have ever posted two such seasons. Green Bay spent a second-round pick on AJ Dillon, whose biggest asset is that he’s 247 pounds. That says goal-line back. Even without Dillon, Jones saw 13 carries or fewer in 11 of 16 games in 2019.

Jones should remain the lead back, but he has never profiled as a workhorse. AJ Dillon’s challenge is scary for Jones’ TDs.
