Projections for the season ahead
As the 2019 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Atlanta Falcons tight end Austin Hooper and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Austin Hooper Fantasy Outlook
Hooper’s red zone chances have increased each of the past two years. Tevin Coleman’s departure could help that further in 2019. Coordinator Dirk Koetter’s return should help as well. Koetter’s 12 offenses (with three teams) have thrown 32.7 percent of TD passes to tight ends. The Falcons have thrown just 18.9 percent to their tight ends in Hooper’s three years in the league. Matt Ryan also tallied his three largest pass-attempt totals in his three previous years under Koetter.

Hooper has been decent to date. The return of Dirk Koetter to an already-productive pass offense gives Hooper a shot to break out.
