As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Injury again got in Cook’s way late last season — this time a shoulder. But he averaged 20.3 carries and 4.8 targets over the first 10 games and should return to the same high-volume role in a run-heavy offense. Coordinator Kevin Stefanski left for Cleveland, but veteran coach Gary Kubiak takes over. He brings a longer history of leaning run and guided plenty of successful running back seasons in Denver and Houston.

Cook was electric before getting hurt. If the injury history scares you, opt for Ezekiel Elliott instead — or handcuff Alexander Mattison
