Defense/Special Teams Rankings Week 10

The New York Jets finished in the top 10 for Week 9, but should perform even better in Week 10

As predicted last week, the fantasy owners that held on to the Chicago Bears defense/special teams (DST) after they played the Patriots were rewarded with the top scoring DST in Week 9. The Bears DST scored two defensive touchdowns and added four sacks, which helped the high point total. In Week 10, the Bears face the Detroit Lions, who looked awful against the Vikings in Week 9. The Vikings recorded 10 sacks against Matthew Stafford. While the Bears may not get double-digit sacks, they likely will get to Stafford at least a few times. They are the second-ranked DST for Week 10.

The top-ranked DST is the New York Jets. The Jets, who are only owned in 36 percent of fantasy leagues, are readily available and facing the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. The Bills haven't officially named a starting quarterback yet, as it depends on if either Josh Allen or Derek Anderson are healthy. However, the offense is a disaster, and even if Nathan Peterman is not the starting quarterback, the Bills are a great opponent to target for streaming DSTs.
