Defense/Special Teams Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 2

The New Orleans Saints DST were the only DST to score a touchdown in Week 1

There was only one defensive touchdown scored in Week 1, and it was by the New Orleans Saints. While the Saints defense/special teams (DST) isn't typically one that went flying off of fantasy draft boards, they looked decent in Week 1. They were facing Tom Brady in a new offense, but they may be a DST to just keep an eye on. They are ranked No. 6 for Week 2 and still may be available in about 20 percent of leagues.

When looking back at the stats from Week 1, the Washington Football Team had the most sacks with eight (the next closest was four). It's hard to recommend the Washington DST at this point. They face Arizona in Week 2, but they are ranked No. 22. Week 2 will tell if the Washington DST is really that good or perhaps (and more likely) the Eagles aren't that good. It's hard as there are a lot of injuries for Philadelphia, and that may bode well for the Rams DST (ranked No. 8 for Week 2).
