Chicago Bears DST had a great Week 2 and is ranked No. 2 for Week 3
Predicting defense/special teams (DST) rankings for fantasy football early in the season is never easy, but after two weeks, some teams are showing their true colors. Kahlil Mack and the Chicago Bears are proving to be a force to be reckoned with. Yes, they were at home on Monday night, but they did sack Russell Wilson six times in their victory. In most formats, they were the top DST of the week in terms of fantasy points. They are the No. 2-ranked DST for Week 3, just behind the Minnesota Vikings (who play the Buffalo Bills at home).
On the season so far, depending on league scoring, the New York Jets have the most fantasy points. The Jets play the Cleveland Browns on "Thursday Night Football" to open Week 3. Thursday night games are typically low scoring (although don't tell A.J. Green that) and the Jets will likely force some turnovers against the Browns. Before waivers ran, the Jets DST is only 34 percent owned, so teams that are looking to add a defense for this week ought to consider picking them up.
