The Rams DST could be a bounce-back candidate this week since they play Thursday night
If you were hoping to play the Miami Dolphins defense/special teams (DST) in fantasy this week, welcome to 2019 my time traveling friend! I guess the tanking plan worked, but please tell me Tom Brady has retired and that has enabled the Dolphins dynasty of the future.
For the rest of us not traveling through time, you know that the Miami being on a bye is no loss, but be aware Detroit is unavailable this week as well. The Seahawks and Rams are both available and they play each other on Thursday night. That's one reason why I liked both DSTs slightly better than most. Not always, but offenses are sometimes very sluggish for a Thursday night game, so I'm raising each of those two DSTs a notch.
One team I am definitely lowering a few notches is Cincinnati. The consensus has the Bengals startable in a 14-team standard league. I could not disagree more. The Bengals are coming off a shorter week after playing on Monday night. You recall seeing the Bengals D being tossed about like clothes at a thrift store, right? I think Kliff Kingsbury's Cardinals right the ship this week. Stay away from Cincinnati.
Teams on bye: Detroit, Miami
