Defense/Special Teams Rankings Week 6: Josh Norman/Washington Redskins

When looking at my Week 6 fantasy defense/special teams (DST) rankings, keep in mind one thing — sometimes it's all about the matchups. No, I can't believe I have the winless Washington Redskins as the No. 8 DST this week either. But the Vikings, Rams, and Jaguars all have tough matchups in Week 6. And yes, I do believe the winless Dolphins are that bad.

Furthermore, lost in another dominant performance by New England's defense last week is the fact that the Redskins held Tom Brady and company to just 12 points in the first half. The Dolphins wish they were half as good as the Pats. I think Miami will find a way to score at least 17 points against Washington. But the Redskins will get their share of sacks and turnovers, making them stream-worthy this week, especially for those who are without the Bears or Bills or Colts DST this week.

In addition to the Redskins, I also like the Packers this week. Green Bay's defense has been a little under the radar and is eighth in the league in points allowed per game. The Packers have been getting after the quarterback (eighth in sacks) and have forced their share of turnovers (second in INTs). I know the Lions are coming off a bye, but this feels like one of those laughers where people wonder what other slights the citizens of Detroit have to suffer. I do expect the Pack to come down to earth a little bit, but not this week.
