As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Metcalf delivered top-33 fantasy numbers across formats as a rookie. He benefited from a high touchdown rate, tying for 13th in TDs at the position despite tying for just 36th in receptions. Pro Football Focus also graded Metcalf outside the top 50 wideouts. The rookie became an immediate red-zone weapon, though Tyler Lockett drew more targets in that range. Metcalf’s downfield role adds upside but also makes him more volatile week to week.

Metcalf can certainly take another step forward after a good rookie season. But he’s going too early to be a value in fantasy drafts.
