Drew Brees' appealing home matchup puts him in the top spot among his peers
It’s “Dome Sweet Dome” for Drew Brees in Week 13, which is the main reason he leads the fantasy quarterback rankings. Brees' numbers are significantly better when he’s playing in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome compared to on the road. His opponent this week, Detroit, has allowed every quarterback it’s faced, with the exception of Brock Osweiler, to throw for more than 200 yards. And every signal-caller except Sam Bradford (in the Thanksgiving game) has finished with at least one touchdown pass against the Lions. Brees (and squeaky wheel Brandin Cooks) should have a field day Sunday.
Matt Ryan is in contention to be the MVP this year, and he faces a defense that just allowed Trevor Siemian to throw for 368 yards and three touchdowns. He’s also at home. Colin Kaepernick cracks the top 10 and has been a top fantasy quarterback for the past four weeks. He's still available in 75 percent of leagues, and is an option for fantasy owners looking ahead to the playoffs or those in need of a fill-in this week with Marcus Mariota on bye.
Teams on bye: Cleveland, Tennessee
