Fantasy Football 2016 Wide Receiver Rankings: Week 2

Brandin Cooks exploded in Week 1, including a 98-yard TD catch and run

Week 1 continued the tradition of wide receivers running the show in terms of fantasy points in most contests. Unfortunately, several top-flight targets also got hurt, including Keenan Allen, Demaryius Thomas and Sammy Watkins. Those injuries will shake up the rankings plenty this week, particularly in the case of Allen, who is done for the season after tearing his ACL. So keep in mind these rankings could and will likely change up until kickoff.

As far as Week 2 shapes up, Odell Beckham Jr., Allen Robinson and Dez Bryant have favorable matchups so they are clear-cut, top-10 options. Either way you start these guys, but maybe for a DFS play you will need to decide?

If you are curious where some of the rookies who shined in Week 1 are look no further. Will Fuller, Sterling Sheppard, Corey Coleman as well as second-year wideout Tyrell Williams (who figures to benefit from Allen’s injury) all moved up plenty in the rankings this week.

Good luck this week everyone and be sure to check out all of our positional rankings, including flex before setting your lineup.
