Marvin Jones Jr. has been a borderline top-10 fantasy WR this season but can he keep it up?
With four more teams on bye in Week 10 this is another week where flex rankings can help fantasy owners make those tough lineup decisions. Especially coming off a smattering of “turn back the clock” performances like we saw in Week 9.
Matt Forte (who has been ruled out this week because of a knee injury) and Adrian Peterson both turned in top-10 performances among running backs. On the wide receiver front, guys like Alshon Jeffery (on bye this week), T.Y. Hilton, Marvin Jones Jr., Doug Baldwin and Robert Woods finally put up some big numbers, each finishing with 20-plus fantasy points (depending on league scoring).
As for Week 10, the Steelers are in the best matchup of their season facing the Colts, not that you weren’t going to start Antonio Brown or Le’Veon Bell in the first place. But are you going to trust JuJu Smith-Schuster or Martavis Bryant more this week (or neither)?
The Patriots return from bye and are facing a still-stout Denver defense, but the Broncos have been floundering mightily on offense. Rob Gronkowski and Brandin Cooks are both in my top 30 this week. It’s a tough draw for them, but these guys are near matchup-proof.
Sammy Watkins found the end zone and had a solid outing in Week 9, but he remains touchdown-dependent and faced a Giants secondary missing its top cornerback. So his Week 10 ranking is not reflective of his Week 9 production. Kelvin Benjamin may suit up for his first game for Buffalo (vs. Saints), but until we see something he’s not ranked very high here.
Remember, no Chiefs, Eagles, Raiders or Ravens this week (and no Mike Evans either).
Teams on bye: Baltimore, Kansas City, Oakland, Philadelphia
