With the bye weeks behind us, fantasy football owners can now focus on their rosters. The only players on a fantasy roster should be those that you are starting and those that you wouldn't want your opponent to have (this includes handcuffs to your own players). However, be sure you have room for flex players. Last week, Jonathan Williams was considered a flex option; he ended up with more than 100 yards and scoring the sixth-most fantasy points among running backs. For Week 13, he is No. 41 on the flex rankings. He's the No. 23 running back, which puts him just out of starting RB territory, but he would be a great flex option.
Another Week 12 waiver wire pick-up was Bo Scarbrough of the Detroit Lions. He had 18 carries for 98 yards in Week 12 and finished in the top 30 for all running backs. The Lions face the Bears on Thanksgiving day, which isn't a great matchup, but it's enough to keep him in the flex rankings. Scarbrough is ranked No. 47 in the flex rankings and is the No. 26 running back. He has more value in standard formats than PPR as he isn't much of a receiver out of the backfield. However, he should be considered as a flex option this week, especially because undrafted rookie David Blough will get the start at quarterback over an ailing Jeff Driskel (hamstring).
