Welcome to Week 18! Fantasy managers likely are already done, so congrats on a championship if you got that far... or there's always next year.
The same can be said for some real-life NFL teams. Some have already clinched their division and others will just have to wait until next year because they are already eliminated. It's hard to gauge how valuable players on teams that have nothing to play for will be for fantasy or DFS purposes in Week 18, but you should assume it will be business as usual. The teams to be concerned with are the ones where they have nothing to gain.
For example, Aaron Jones is probably best viewed as nothing more but a flex option this week. The Green Bay Packers have already clinched everything they can (division, home-field advantage throughout playoffs, first-round bye) and they gain nothing from using their starters this week. While they will likely play everyone just to get some snaps this week, the coaching staff doesn't want to risk injury. AJ Dillon will likely have a bigger role with Jones sitting for some, if not all, of the game.
The Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccanneers also have little to gain this week, but may continue to play their starters for a large part of their respective games. For this reason, look for Tony Pollard to see more work on Saturday night against Philadelphia.
