Alvin Kamara has been a beast in the early going, but now he'll have to share the workload with Mark Ingram
It's Week 5 and it's hard to believe that we are already a quarter of the way through the fantasy season. Remember bye weeks are in play now, which means no Chicago Bears or Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. That's a shame considering the game Mitchell Trubisky just had, but for flex purposes he doesn't even count. Jordan Howard, Mike Evans, Allen Robinson, DeSean Jackson, Tarik Cohen (and maybe even Chris Godwin and Taylor Gabriel) do, however.
In other news, Le'Veon Bell says he will show up in a couple of weeks but until he does (and then gets on the field), James Conner remains Pittsburgh's starting running back and could be in line for a decent game against a struggling Atlanta defense.
Alvin Kamara continues to dominate and he is the top running back (PPR leagues) once again this week, as well as the top flex play overall even with Mark Ingram's expected return from suspension. Todd Gurley is not far behind and is the top choice for standard leagues, as he is in a solid matchup (at Seattle) as well.
As for the rest, there aren't too many surprises this week, although welcome back Julian Edelman! Having just two teams on bye takes some of the sting off that impact as well.
Remember, as the season progresses, bye weeks, injuries and breakout seasons can really impact these rankings, which hopefully makes them more valuable as we move forward.
