I already mentioned in my Week 5 running back fantasy rankings that the position is absolute chaos. But at least some clarity came with Jonathan Taylor being ruled out for "Thursday Night Football."
With no Taylor, you can remove him from your lineup, but it shines a brighter spotlight on Indianapolis' backfield. Nyheim Hines will presumably take over but don't expect a Taylor-like workload. Hines is more of a pass-catching threat (7.3 ypr for his career) and has gotten only eight carries so far (for 11 total yds.) Former Bronco Phillip Lindsay, who is on the Colts' practice squad, could be elevated and get some opportunities, but Hines makes for a much better flex option if he's on your roster or he's available on your league's waiver wire.
Yards won't come easy against Denver's stingy defense but the touches should be there with Taylor (81 carries, nine catches in four games) sitting this one out.
