Four teams are on bye again in Week 7, and fantasy football owners may be scrambling to find players to fill the positions on their roster. The flex position is sometimes the trickiest to fill. One of the keys with the flex spot is to find a player that may be given an opportunity in the current week because of injury. For example, Devin Smith is ranked No. 104 among flex options. However, he may be worthy of a flex spot in your lineup if Amari Cooper ends up being out.
Fantasy owners should also look at backup running backs to fill the flex spot. In Week 6, Aaron Jones fumbled the ball, dropped a sure touchdown pass, and Jamaal Williams stepped up. He had 14 carries that he turned into 104 yards. He also added four receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown. For this week, Williams is ranked No. 70 as a flex option. Keep an eye on Todd Gurley's status (after he missed Week 6) as well as Saquon Barkley. Their backups may be solid flex options this week as well.
