While putting together my Week 7 fantasy rankings for the flex spot, everything seemed pretty copacetic. I had to move a couple of tight ends up a little more and tinker a little bit here and there, but for the most part, nothing really struck me. Until I saw how high I had Ronald Jones in these rankings.
It definitely struck me. However, I took a step back and thought about it. And you know what — Jones is absolutely flex-worthy! The Tampa Bay back is coming off a huge game this past weekend when he carried the ball 23 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns. That is now three straight games over the century mark for Jones.
And I am telling your right now that Jones will make it four on Sunday night. We have a "pirate bowl" on "Sunday Night Football" as Jones and the Buccaneers takes on the Raiders. Las Vegas has been a treasure trove for opposing running backs, giving up the second-most fantasy points to running backs at 33.64 per game. I'm expecting Jones to do plenty of plundering, which makes him an easy top flex option.
Teams on bye: Baltimore, Indianapolis, Miami, Minnesota
