Flex Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 7

Travis Etienne Jr. is starting to establish himself as the lead option in the Jaguars' backfield.

I already mentioned how much I like some rookies in my Week 7 fantasy running back rankings, but it is a second-year player that has a noteworthy ranking in my week 7 flex rankings.

That player is Travis Etienne Jr. I have him as a top-25 flex option this week. I know he's been benched in a number of leagues as James Robinson got off to a fabulous start. But the tide is now shifting toward Etienne and you don't want to miss the crest.

The Jaguars play the Giants this week, who just got dusted by Kenyan Drake for 119 rushing yards on just 10 carries! Etienne is a far more talented back than Drake. Should he get the totes, he should see similar or better numbers.

And I do think Etienne continues to see his usage rise. Robinson is not even seeing three more snaps per game than Etienne on the season, and that lead is quickly disappearing. In fact, this past week Etienne was on the field for more snaps than Robinson. Not only is Etienne starting to see more action than Robinson, but he's also been more effective. He is averaging 5.6 yards per carry to Robinson's 4.2.

It's time to get Etienne off your bench and start him in your flex.
